The Brewer Pregnancy Diet was developed in the 1950's and 1960's by an obstetrician, Dr. Tom Brewer, to help women have healthier pregnancies and healthier babies. In the process of his medical education, and researching the work of Hamlin, Strauss, Burke, and Ferguson--doctors who had worked on this issue in the 40 years previously--he discovered that the cause of pre-eclampsia and some other complications was an abnormal blood volume, caused by malnutrition, or food deficiency. The diet consists of 14 food groups. However, it can be summarized as starting with 4 basic components: 2600 calories, 80-120 grams of protein, salt to taste, and unrestricted weight gain.

Depression During Pregnancy
Out of every 10 women who are pregnant, one or two have symptoms of major depression. Women who have been depressed before are at higher risk.
Depression is a serious medical condition. It poses risks for the woman and her baby. But a range of treatments are available. These include counseling, psychotherapy, support groups, therapy with light, and medications.
The Homebirth Choice by Jill Cohen
"This document discusses homebirth as one of many avenues toward a successful birth—one that results in a happy and healthy mom and baby. We offer this in support of education, freedom of choice and empowerment of women and their families. While aimed at parents, those considering the profession of midwifery will also find it a useful overview of what a midwife does. It was written from the perspective of midwives in the US."

The Bradley Method
Natural childbirth is an important goal since most people want to give their babies every possible advantage. Without the side effects of drugs given during labor and birth. Bradley® classes teach families how to have natural births. The techniques are simple and effective. They are based on information about how the human body works during labor. Couples are taught how they can work with their bodies to reduce pain and make their labors more efficient. Of over 200,000 Bradley®-trained couples nationwide, over 86% of them have had spontaneous, unmedicated vaginal births. This is a method that works! source: www.bradleybirth.com

Miracle Diapers
Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing cloth diapers, baby products, and natural living items to struggling families all over the world. We accept donations that were given generously by caring individuals and redistribute them to families who are in need of assistance.
The use of disposable products decreases resources, increases waste output, costs more, and has significant health risks. Through providing cloth diapers and other natural living alternatives to low income families, we aspire to increase the use of reusable items on a larger scale, therefore helping improve the environment.
We are a Christian based company desiring to provide the best for your baby. We started this business after using cloth diapers on our daughter. We had already been using the truly natural bath and body products for her and giving her organic food, but we were still using the disposable diapers with the chemicals against her skin and body. We also were aware of how much waste we were adding to the environment by using disposable diapers. We wanted to provide the best for her and felt this was a good decision.
I (Michelle) am a stay at home mom who also gives piano lessons. While I love taking care of our daughter Rachel Grace, I also have always loved working and one of my dreams has been to have my own business (besides the piano lessons). Once we started using the cloth diapers more, we were inspired to start an online retail store featuring many products that we have used and more.
My husband Bradley will be helping with the business when he is not working his job outside of the home. We feel God has truly blessed us by allowing us to have this business and hope that you will be blessed through the products we carry.
We hope that we can meet your needs and please contact us if you have any questions or comments.
